Nylex / polyethylene HDPE and LLDPE

Nylexes are composed of two components: heavy polyethylene and light polyethylene; Due to the dryness, impactability, and thinness of these films, as well as their lower toughness and transparency compared to nylons, 20% light polyethylene is used to add gloss, softness, and better sewability to this product.

If we want to have films made of nylon type polyethylene with low thicknesses and special applications, the best option is polyethylene (HDPE); These films, which are usually dry and impactable and are classified in a lower thickness range, are known as "Nylex" films. Some of the mechanical properties of Nylexes are in a lower range than nylons. Higher fragility, less transparency, and... some other behaviors (ability to produce very thin film, quantity per kilogram, less additives, etc.) are the main reasons for its high demand in the country's consumer market.
